About our Speakers: 

Howard Perlman is a Certified Payroll Professional who analyzes all aspects of U.S. payroll administration as a senior editor/writer with Bloomberg BNA. Howard proudly serves as the government liaison officer of the Washington Metropolitan Area Chapter of the American Payroll Association. He earned a B.A. in Journalism and a B.A. in Political Science from American University in 2010 and is one of the primary coordinators of the Boy Scouts of America in Washington, D.C.

A little about Wreaths Across America:  The mission, Remember, Honor and Teach, is carried out in part by coordinating wreath laying ceremonies on a specified Saturday in December at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as veteran cemeteries and other locations in all 50 states and beyond.  They organize a week of events including international veteran's tributes, ceremonies at State Houses and a week-long "Veteran's Parade" between Maine and Virginia where they stop along the way to spread the message about the importance of remembering our fallen heroes, honoring those who serve, and teaching our children about the sacrifices made by veterans and their families to preserve our freedoms.
