About the Speaker:   
Michael Baer, the managing editor of Bloomberg BNA’s Payroll Library and Compensation and Benefits Library services, has been with Bloomberg BNA since 1990 and has spent his entire time covering payroll and HR issues.  In 1998, he received recognition as a Special Friend to the payroll community from the American Payroll Association.

Prior to joining Bloomberg BNA, Michael gained experience in payroll and human resources with Marriott, and later was the personnel manager for the Shanghai Hilton.

He lives with his wife and children in Alexandria, Virginia.

Community Outreach:  Birthday Blessing - We are collecting plain or birthday wrapping paper, ribbons and small NEW stuffed animals to go on the outside of the packages.  They are in need of any supplies for wrapping presents.

Monthly Raffles:  We will continue our monthly raffles.  The money raised from January through June will be matched by WMAC and donated to Books for America.

About Birthday Blessing: At Birthday Blessing we believe when children don’t receive a birthday present on their special day they feel left out and forgotten. Long-term, this can potentially damage a child’s self-esteem.
